UK Retailers - UK Shops on the web - UK Online Stores

We have begun to display all the shops of UK Retailers, from major Department Stores to individual independent high-street shops, who have an online presence on the Internet or stores in the High Street. We are putting the database together right now and then we shall open it up to allow retailers and traders from all across the UK to add further stores and details if they so wish; even plotting the positions of their stores on the local maps within this website.

Have confidence with the retailers listed in our database

To appear in our database all the retailers have to have their own UK office address. In most cases at group level we give the Registered Office as listed at Companies House, in which case you should be aware that this is more likely to be a solicitors office than a store but it will be the best place to start if you have a problem that Customer Services cannot solve for you. With smaller retailers there may be only one address and telephone number to cover all communications. Conversely with international retailers their Head Office may be in another country BUT to be in our list they need to have a UK office, this is satisfied in most cases with a UK Brand Office or a UK Representative Office. In this manner we can be sure that our users have a clear avenue to take if they have problems with a product they purchase. We do not warrant or guarantee your purchase, that is between you and the retailer, but we have tried our best to give you the quickest route to the best UK retailers either online or in the UK High Street.

Firstly we will not act on your behalf but as we advertise for retailers we feel that we should offer some assistance by way of advice.

In the first instance you should take your issue up with whom ever sold you the product or service. In nearly all cases it is the shop that has to deal with your complaint and NOT the manufacturer. Make a note of whom you talk to and when. If they do not resolve the problem to your satisfaction then contact their Customer Services; again make note of whom you talk to and when. Having a receipt is useful but not mandatory, a credit card statement showing the payment to them is just as good, you also have added protection if you use a credit card.
