This section contains and displays images of many types from all over the United Kingdom to form a British National Image Library. There are currently 2,866 images in the library from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and some of our off-shore dependencies and territories and they can be located and viewed in a number of different ways.

Many of the images in the library are also accessible by their location. Simply go to Find places in the UK and seek the location of your choice. Images are shown at the bottom of each page at Town/Parish level.
There are two other main repositories of images on this site: one is an Album of Stately Homes the other is within the Flora and Fauna Database
