Here the major entertainment centres and event venues are listed in alphabetical order by type with links to the website of each of them, if they have one! and also a link to each district within the British Towns Directory so you cannot only see how to get there but also what else there is to do in that location. We have arrangements with Ticketmaster™ for the provision of ticket sales for many of these locations, you will find details on how to obtain tickets on the relevant pages.
On this site we display Tourist and
Visitor Attractions
and Entertainment and Event Venues
as two different sections on the basis that an
attraction is a place that you would still visit if there were no special events occurring during your visit,
whereas an entertainment or event venue is a place normally only visited during an event. There are exceptions, but then
they are easy to find using our search facility anyway.
